I can't comment on the vector stuff because I have absolutely NO experience with it. From what I've seen, in a vector-looking signature you should keep the focal point rendered and not "blur-down" the sides of it.
The overall signature is pretty cool though, also try adding a more visible border. When I look at it my eyes float off into the background of the forums. xD
