Because everything is emo, man. Emo means emotion and everyone has emotion and everyone has opinions. Opinions are derived from emotion because something around them influnced their mind to become passionate or even completely ignore that one something.
About the photo-manip.. pretty sweet. You definately captured the mainstream thought pattern of the "trendy emo kid". I really love everything about it, especially the flow of the image. The razor in the middle is so symbolic, but maybe I'm just reading too much into it? Way to capture a great theme.
I love grung I give it a 9/10 :P
