Long time no see, Hightech-something wallpaper

Okey, I went for the "nonorganic life form"-style computers with senses and stuff, And those always have a red glass eyes so they see everything that happens.
Tell me what you think.
It's all just layer effects aso.

I just thought I'd fill out the sides a bit.

I really like V2. reminds me of that Simpson's halloween special when Pierce Brosnan played the house computer. Haha. what a great episode.

I really like the metal look and the glow on that eye is very menacing. :D

i like v1. hehehe sorry guys. reminds me of HAL from space odyssey 2001. and the effects are well done, nice work

Texture could make this look so much better.

Also maybe try a render -> lighting effects filter to darken some edges of the image.

For texture try sxc.hu and Textures.

Make a biiiig canvas, 5k x 5k, whack a load of texture layers on ( all diff )

Use a soft edged eraser on 20-30% opacity, and click round the edges to get smoothly blended textures.

Then simply apply them how you like to the image ( or parts, don't just overlay it as one layer, do each bit individually!)

When using textures try to get them all of a similar sharpness / brightness / zoom
