Some real inconspicuous grey stuff might look nice on the background, i.e swirls around the pieces or techy stuff :)

Also - A little curves / contrast might work nicely with the eclipse sig !
Best is the TimeShift one in my opinion, and I also love the pen toolin' coloured ones. :D You have a really cool style and this tagwall shows your quirkyness all in one place! :D Can't wait for Decembers.
