I really like your attempt.
Good depth and great flow and the text is placed at a good point, a bit dark at the bottom and empty at the top though.

That's a HUGE vertical sig. The BG is okya, i wish you would have blended it a little more. Text is pretty good. The render needs sharpening thoughg.
