I went for the less busy approach. Not tried a sig like this before.

It's pretty cool, the effects around her are nice, except for that really dark line going across her shoulder.
Again the text is too safe, be adventurous, we won't laugh. :D
And the what almost looks like snowflakes on the side, I don't like that either, maybe change the colour to something lighter or remove completely. :D
Good design, just a bit more work!

I don't like to admit it, but the leaves on the side, were me smudging the edges of the stock out, it was too hard to render, so I thought I'd be sneaky and try and smudge it out. Didn't quite work to plan.

Also, you are right with the text, I can give C&C on text to my hearts content, but I simply can not ever get it right and think to myself that it looks good. Almost like I have a mental block about it.

That thick dark line looked better before I topaz'd it.
