To me it's a bit too busy. You've got all kinds of things going on, and at the same time the top left is empty. Browse around in the tutorial section and you'll learn fast. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Welcome to the Void btw.

It's got some awesome effects, but it is rather messy.
You've got lots of bad contrast too, it's very dark on one side and almost blindingly bright on the other.
Overall you just need to control those loose cannon effects, keep them simple and less confined and you'll do great. :D
