Wasn't really sure where to put this topic, but here it is...
I find that often when i create a sig on my own pc with flatscreen monitor and then view it on a crt monitor, it looks much darker. i don't think this is a video card issue but rather a monitor issue. if anyone else experiences this plz let me know and if possible how to fix it? thanks.

This is a pretty big issue with LCD's, they have horrible color accuracy. They actually make little sensors that you can buy. You put it on top of your LCD and it reads all the lighting information and configures your LCD to look more like a CRT.
CRT's have more accurate color and contrast
LCD's have sharper clarity.
That's just the way it is.

anyone experimented with the colour options that you can configure to adjust your screen's colour settings? I know that most manufacturers now provide a profile for te screen to adjust the colour settings. however when i just installed my new LCD (19" Benq 8 ms) I found the brightness way off, though the colour looks very nice.
My older Sony 21" CRT (Trinitron flat screen) has problems with the brightness and colour presentation but i havn't tried finding a colour profile for it.
