First sprite.

My first ever sprite. i know i need to work on the text + effects thing is, im no good with the pen tool etc, anyone know a good tut for it? =/

anyways, CnC, or should i trash the idea?

No pen tooling, though, i might still add some, with thanks to splinter for a quick pen tut <3

its well done except for the green doesn't go with the sprite it looks awkward but if u changed that and added ome more it wood be awsome

Not liking the color palette here, the superman doesn't go with the sig colors at all :S Nice effects though, try some adjustment layers for the coloring.

Alright thanks, and yeah, i wasnt done with the colouring, its very mis matched, i agree, just trying to look for a good tut for effects, i want it to look like his fist is going through like the sound barrier if you know what i mean? >.<

Get the elipse tool, make a circle selection near his fist, then fill it with the gradient where white fades into nothing. That gives a nice effect. Then color it.

Just tried that, maybe im doing it wrong but it looks crap >.< currently changing the colours abit

Meh. Effects are nice. I personally believe sprites are terrible things to put in signatures. Good work. MAKE MORE TOUSHIROU or something....hahaha. More captains to choose from...O.o :D
