You should try blending the render into the background more, maybe add some lighting and some gradiant maps.

This is quite basic.
The background is too simple and the brusshes and the pen tooling don't do much for thr render. The render just looks slapped on with no blending at all.
Some gradient maps wouldn't go a miss either.
