I like it but to me it is very plain. I don't like signatures that have loads of empty space, I think if I'm looking at this clearly your trying to get something realistic? Sort of like in a game where someone is going to go through a door or something? I'm not sure if that's what you mean when you say:

I mainly tried to make a different backdrop look like it is actually there, rather than just an image change. I didn't intend to make this a sig full of effects so that is why it looks empty. Thanks for the comment. :D
If you look at the original you can see you have done a lot to it - but without that it doesn't look like a great deal has been done.
I love the text (improved version) really looks like the kinda 'in game real time options screen' which is nice.
