Here im gonna show off my sigs that i made the past few days reading tutorials and trying/playing around with photoshop. i can handle critics so let me know what u dont like and what could look cooler :D
Never been a massive fan of tech sigs, or embossed areas anywhere on a sig, they looks fairly decent. alot of basic effects really.
I can tell theyre all you personal style as they all look similar

Dark Method
I started with this style, but maybe a bit more complex, with indents and such. There's nothing really wrong with 'em, but you may want to look at a more "current" style? Then again, if you like it, stick with it. There is actually a lot more you can do with the "tech" style. There's a couple here in my album under Community>Pictures and Albums if you want to take a look.

On your borders, take the rectangular or elliptical marquee tool to make your selection, then press delete.

The term "tech" is a style. It really has nothing to do with game characters. Another name used for tech sigs seems to be metal sigs.

so as i said i wanna learn more about creating sigs. and grunging and fire effect seems to be pretty in my head now^^ what else is there or what styles i can go to...at my killzone sig i ran out of ideas what else i could use lol.

Tech sigs are much more boxy and have metallic connotations.
I would try to smudge more and don't use such large borders.
Also try and make things more subtle, not so much POP in your text. :D
