Trying to copy other styles and see if it helps with my composition etc

whos style are you trying to copy, the sig is actually ok but needs more gfx on it becuase i think i just loooks like c4ds and a white line and text slapped onto a pic

just spotted loads on NSL which are all white n black tags with C4D renders set onto normal on top of them.

looks decent, but nothing special :\ v1 is better, the lines in v2 are just not cool :p

I agree with Proflax, it doesn't seem very jazzed up, but I still like it.
The small text is unreadable, so don't bother using it unless we can see it. :D
It's good, but it's just not spectacular, you need to add a bit more substance in order for it to be "WOW". :D

I love the style of it, but it just feels like it could be better.. but you're gunna' go somewhere, you've got great style.

The lighting is awesome, but here's some ideas to make it pop.. :
One, you've got a bit of a floating head syndrome going right now, he looks just like.. a head. Secondly, try making the C4Ds behind him pop a little more, maybe make the background behind them a bit darker than they are, sharpen them some? And try adding some C4Ds for lighting, too. You know, the big C4Ds that are all black other than lights? I dunno' what the names of all the kinds are, I don't keep track. xD

Yeah, that's it, it was more there as a filler, but it's a quote from Fight Club, (That's Tyler Durden).

As for floating head, it was a stock that only went up to his soldiers, best I could do. Thank you for all the comments, I'll go and work on some effects etc, and thank you Dolce for a fairly detailed evaluation. :)
