Reading To Kill a Mockingbird for school. Extra credit was to draw or show the characters house in your mind. Tried to make it look like a painting. Messed it up on the top with the texture, forgot to erase a bad part :mad:

The flaws is noticeable but its not like its ruining the image :P
There are a couple parts that are weird, as you mentioned, but you could brush them out.
What did the original photo look like?
A bit shiny for a painting effect but it still looks alright :)
