I guess I should show off a bit. This was made for a battle someplace else, the task was to make a piece based on our favorite song. I did mine on a song called "Helsinki Scorchin'", which is pretty much awesome. This piece was heavily inspired by James White and his amazing artwork, and of course I added my own touches in there too. All rates and constructive criticism greatly appreciated. :)

Really awesome job, the colours are amazing and the effects are perfect.
Only thing is the background, don't like that at all. :D
Nice work, just change the background to something nicer looking and more colourful.
Nice to see somebody who understands the use of kerning. I like this very much, and personally I think the background works well. I like the subtle textures on the coloured stripes too, it adds a lot more to the image.
