Hmm... Work on the text a little.

text is fine, could be better but fine..I like the border thing, its really unique and cool lookin..I'm not sure on the blending though..or the brushing..

can you tell me how to make that border, its really good and with the blending probably keep the insect its colour but blend it in by circling it with the lasso tool and just space it and after that just use the eraser to put the background back in. The title is a bit hard to see and probably needs a bit of shading or something to make it stand out but besides that its pretty good ( the bottom is a bit plain?)

ikon, the border is a render. search "thorn" on google images, you'll see it's one of the first results. i just made 4 copies of the original and arranged them in a frame, along with adjusting the hue, blending, etc.

- Very monotone...work on your colors
-Border could use some work
-brushing although not the main point of the piece can use some work as well

Bust out the sponge/burn tool and get er doneeeeee. *cough* sorry... What I meant before I went on a redneck retard rampage was that I think it would look nice if you took the sponge/burn tools and brushed up the edges on it to give it some depth. But other than that, great concept, love the interpretation, and I hope to see more of this in the future. Kudos!

hahahahhhhahaha thats an awesome idea!! Border is great, I love the text, my only problem is the white part of the fly trap stand out a li'l too much.
