I feel the main part of my background is covered, any ideas on how I might be able to fix this? CnC please :D

Its a very chaotic background you have.. Very pixelated..
I'd think you should try with something diffrent.

This would work a lot better if the flow was in the same direction.
Also make sure that you don't over sharpen things, because that's when picture quality becomes an issue.
The colours are fine, but you just need to make sure that things aren't as chaotic.
