So yea, just joined the forums.. why not make a sig straight away? :P

Well here it is, just let me know what you think. Haven't been doing this for about a year now.

Bg is too plain, and I personally don't like the scale lines and the border. I like the effects though but I'm not too fond of the text. Other than that good job on the un-yeared-experience. I guess that's a word..

Compo is off, too centered
Effects are good and the text is good, i dont mind the emptiness myself, but the sig could definitely be smaller (not so wide) and the compo better
Border doesn't work imo, plain border would go better
render could be bigger
great work for not having done anything in a year! :D

Hehe yea I wasn't even thinking about composition, etc. And that shows as you said. Also wasn't that happy with the bg. Good to know now that you don't just forget everything after doing nothing for some time. Thanks for the replies so far ^^

Good points : Colouring is nice, effects are good, and quite good use of clipping masks. Text is okayy, could be better.
Bad points : BG is slightly boring, and not too keen on the patterned lines. The focal needs to be brighter, or just the centre really. The effects have light, but the focal is darkened. . The white border isn't effective, I would either have no border or two black lines down the either side.

This would be perfect if it wasn't right in the center.
Take off the scanlines and increase the height of the canvas.
Fill up more space with the render.
Other than that, the colours and effects are really nice. :D
