I like the first one but it seems that the right hand side is so plain compared to the left. If you had saved just a few of the details I think it would balance this one out nicely. I like the lighting alot on this one but I'm a little confused by the effects placed at the right side of his head.
As for the black and white one, I think the contrast is too high, you killed what little detail was left on the left hand side of the background.
Other than those minute things, I like it.
v1 best but still seems a little boring defiantly not ur best m8 i also think you should darken the left side a little ;)
