Excellent turnout imo. These are the images that she is okay with me plastering on the net.

i dont know much about photography so i cant give you excellent cnc, but i will say they have nice lighting, shes in a good pose etc, nice job
the first shot is a good pose. I like the S pose makes for a feminine look.
The lighting is good but IMo the key light seems a bit uneven looking. Especially at her legs where she has shadow and the highlight is like a sliver., would have just prefered a bit of more fill to the right of the camera.
Good job overall though. If you can try and minimize thewhite outline around her on the left side its a bti distracting.
The second pose is cool, loving the text. teh sepia color is cool but the green shirt makes it look a bit sickly would have prefered it as more of a grayish tone. GJ dude.
What kind of lights are you using?
In the first she's glowing. Like really her right arm is glowing o.O nice shots otherwise.
these were shot with a canon 430 ex speedlite inside of a DIY softbox. I think I set the strobe to 1/2 or full power. Can't remember. I just spent 330 on a tokina 12-24 wide angle for sport and portrait work, so it's gonna be a while before i can purchase a cheap vivitar fill light. But rest assured, its on my list!
edit: also, i don't currently own a lightstand, so i was trusting my friend (a non-photographer) to place light for me as close to my directions as he could. I totally agree about it being stuck on her legs though.
nice dude thats slick. How do u like the 430 ex?
You might wanna look into a vivitar or sunpack on ebay they can run like 50 bucks its slick.
Friends are the best form of lightstand IMO. More portable and only cost a burger at micke D's.
A kind of DIY reflector for some fill on the legs might be on of those foily things you put underneath your windsheild when ur cars in the sun. I use mine occasionally and it works decently to get a small reflection.
Anyway thanks for posting, cool shots.
honestly, the 430 ex is great. It has been useful in pretty much every situation I thought I might need it, and some I didn't but thought I'd try it anyway. Granted, I haven't used too many flashes. I do plan on picking up a UV filter for my new wide lens today, so I may check into some vivitar flashes while I'm at the camera shop.
very cool. well keep shooting. Always like seeing this kind of stuff.
