Pretty simple if you ask me. I like simplicity, but it just looks like a stock image and then a c4d with a random clipping mask. The monochromatic palette is alright, but it needs better lighting.

Hahaha, a lot better.
Might want to consider setting the text on overlay or something so that it won't be completely hidden. Just work on blending it all together.

My only thoughts on it now is to add a light source. The render has a very blatant reflection of light on his glasses so it kinda feels empty without one. Not saying you should go for something as blatant or obvious, but I think it might kick your sig up a little.
