Ok so I know it's not very good but I am trying to get better!

I think the worst part is probably the text. Check it out

Also the blue ripple on each side of Altair's face looks overdone...

Definitely getting better..dont like the shadow in the text..effects around the render needs some work.. but definitely an improvement.. Nice work..

Thanks man. I have a hard time with thinking of how I want my text to look, thus making it difficult to actually make it.

Unfortunately, this has a case of Floating Head Syndrome. Because you don't have the shoulders incorporated into the signature. His head just sort of floats there.
The Text and effects are pretty nice, but there are also some effects over the face. Some little blue squiggles.
The Colours are nice as well. Suits the character.
