I am isgie but you can call me Brian. I am 14 and I have been doing gfx for about a year. The first 6 months, I did not make much progress but recently, I have been improving.
My friend, bitethedust, recommended this place for me. Both him and I believe this place will really help me improve. I may not be a photoshop user but a lot of the tutorials seem to work with the program I use which is gimp. While I am here, I am hoping to work on my text, depth, c4d placement, smudging, stocks, etc.

gimp is cool and all but photoshop is more versatile than what gimp has to offer, and makes things alot more easier.
