like ion say, the red spot needs to go and the rest is pretty badass.

Replace the Red with a low opacity white or a low opacity gray and it would look better cos theres no red on the render/stock so it's kinda unnessassery colour.

random plain soft brush of any color acting as a "light source" just looks terrible

err? don't do what? Colour in a soft brush light source is fine as long as it doesnt stand out. That was kinda unessessaryily rude.

no it wasn't. i just completely disagree with what you said. again, a plain soft brush placed as a "light source" looks terrible. creating a light source shouldn't be an after thought. it should be worked in instead of just putting a random dot with a soft brush over top of everything. any 3 year old can do that. i could have called you names and such, but instead I disagreed and gave my justification on why I disagree. If you find people disagreeing with you rude... *rolls eyes*
