Well I tried to do something different from what I usually do. Ugh I put the wrong text color >.< which makes a difference. Don't feel like changing till later. Anyways opinions.

Yeah lose the text and border.
I don't think the C4D is working well in this one. It looks like a bed of Needles.
The text also needs a bit of work. Since you chose a red, it stands out in a bad way. I'd use more yellows and blacks so that it fits in with the theme.
As an effect, you could have yellow words with black stripes as clipping masks. It might look like "bee" letters. :D
You might need a different font for this though...
