I do make an attempt to post on the threads that have only a few comments, but I have been extremely busy over the past few days with personal matters.

I think the ripples are creating an outline effect that isn't looking the best Try setting these layers to lighten or screen. Also, add some ripple effects in-front of Link and use the eraser to remove some of the area that covers him.
The Energy C4D right in-front of him looks out of place. It doesn't help the signature in any way. Remove that, or angle it a bit so it's not covering his face and erase some of the effect
I do think you need a bit more added to the background as well. Although, I'm not quite sure what to add. :p

hmm nice the light creates some depth but i think it is on the wrong place it should be coming from over the top of the render
but it is a nice try keep trying and you will be better in no time
^ i agree, lighting would look better coming from above him
yeah, i only made the render smaller havent thought of that xD
