Very nice!
The fire feel that the signature is giving out really does draw your attention. The size of the signature allows the user to actually feel like they are viewing an image rather then a banner.
You've also done a great job on the text, but I do think a border is needed. Maybe a cream or white. Just something to break the image from the forum page. ;)

the eye brows are cool as hell, color choice is wicked. background can be more complex but like the blurriness of it to manipulate the depth, text is wicked, wish you could do more to her flat face : <
