Not bad, I think the contrast is a little too high and the effects are pretty messy.

render is too dark aswell. but not bad

Off topic: jice, The Asylum has a new Social Group, please make sure you join it and post in that one from now on.

The tag is brilliant, some nice colouring and effects, text is okay. I think you need to blend the render in a bit more:

Take the lasso tool and drown about 1cm around the whole render.
Right click and click "Select Inverse"
Then right click again and click "Feather" and put about 5pixels.
Now press delete a couple of times and notice the blending. ;)
