First Sprite ever.

Hey guys, What you think of this? I'm completely new to sprite making and so i need a little help. What should i do with this next?

Been wanting to make one for a while but never known how, finally took the jump into trying it

i like the effects of the sprite itself, however i dont like the white blurred part of the background, that kinda ruins it for me

Pretty sweet, but the character does look a bit static. Might help if you could add some effects to show some more movement. ;)

I'd agree with you tbh, i started it and got about 15 layers on and then thought er wait a minute. I might go back and rewrk it.

@Nutter, i tried adding xtra fx but i failed miserably, can someone point me to a resourse pack??
