Hey everyone. I have a problem and I really hope someone can help me and give me a detailed and helpful response to my question!
I just bought what I need for xbox live and I want to play in the basement but the main computer is upstairs. I bought a Linksys WET11 Ethernet Wireless box thing :lol: and I have it set up. I need to configure the IP address, etc some correct way. I've tried a lot but everytime I get some sort of problem on my setup on the xbox. If anyone knows anyway how to connect it correctly, I would really appreciate it.

Well, I may not be able to help too much. Although, in the past I have actually called linksys's support number and explained my problem. They fixed my problem and walked me through everything.
Try calling they're number, they gave me the best support I have ever received from a company.

I don't use a linksys sorry, i do have xbox live on the other hand, and it all conencts fine, it may have a built in firewall, you will need to open ports 3074 and ports 88 for that to work.
