Digital Illustration

Just a couple of simple simple digital things I've made recently, nothing too special.

Might print this out and use it as a christmas card for my mum seeing as she's caring for me while I can't walk around, just a little late night doodle full of resentment for having a broken foot over christmas and being stuck indoors while everyone else is out having fun.

An A2 poster for a university brief - "...Create a poster integrating image and text based on an inspirational quote..." - I think in the shower and things click but I often forget them by the time I've finished.

For the first issue of a new zine a friend and I are starting, the theme is A is for... and I obviously chose acorn. I'm not happy with the chosen typeface now I look back on it, it's too soft and light for the image; might sneakily change it before we start compiling but the submission date has passed so it's not very fair.

Very nice stuff there. The Images are simple, and the meanings behind them is portrayed nicely. :)

I do like the Christmas one. Very Classy. :D

I like the top 2, however on the second one I would use a slightly more inteligable font. Some of the words are hard to read, like 'easy' looks a little like 'baby'.

Nice work mate, simple but well composed and effective :)
