another wallpaper

**WARNING** - Not For Emos To Look At -

this is just a paper i made now cos im fed up of watching TV and then some crap emo band comes on with the croud either not moving at all, or jumping as high a they can and slapping their gangly crap arms into the people who are there to watch the bands.

for example: i went to see the mad caddies about a month ago in birmingham england. there was an emo band playing as one of the supports. there was this kid, who had about a 5 metre area TO HIMSELF right in the middle of the entire venue because he was jumping around. HE STILL MANAGES TO GET HIS CRAP SPIKEY BELT AND CRAP FRINGE TO SLAP EVERYONE AROUND THE OUTSIDE! so inconsiderate.

**Oi You Emos Out There: Do Not Take Offensivelly!**

Not a huge fan of emos myself - at all. Although, I respect what they are trying to do - be an indivudal and set a contrast between them and the crowd of preppys.

I love the background, very cool effects. How did you create the blood surrounding the heart? Did you just ink that in yourself, or use an effect?

Mad cool, I love the gradients. Very unique. 8.5/10

Two people I hate. Emos and Metrosexuals. This takes care of one of them. Lol. Its cool. I love it! 8/10. I dont do 9's. Lol

Interesting concept here..I like the idea but the character on the left is totally useless and I believe takes from the image.. Negative space and simple composition is a key part in vector images like these. The "jaska designs" font is harsh and the whole thing is out of place. The arial font is O.k..but not the best. Remember, more than two typefaces in the image is not usually good. Try experimenting with that..my number one complaint is the backround, very dull. Try a gradient or more than one color, stripes..something like that. :) Besides that , I like smashmethods brushes (his, right?) and the heart just lacks some detail. That part is fine though. :D Keep it up, I'd love to see more.

the whole idea of it was that it is meant to be a simple wallpaper. :)

i dunno what brushes they are as i tend to compile my brushes into sets for easier access. as for the font, it isnt really meant to be too eye-catching, again only simple. i do however agree with you on the jakska designs font, it does suck a lot.

thanks for the advice, i shall take it into consideration on my next pieces. ^_^

I'm lovin it. I hate the Metros and the Emos...And I don't like Goths, they all complain too much! Haha.

The brushes look a lot like Angry Blue brushes. I like what you did with the heart. That alone would make a great wallpaper.

I love the wallpaper man. It's simple... and perfect how it is. I love the gradients and the splash of red, which I assume is paint... It's well balanced but maybe a little heavy on the right, but just a tiny bit.

All in all, very good job. It looks great.

i dunno what the band was called, they totally sucked though, mega close to getting booed off!!

SKETCHi the red is meant to be blood lol, and its more to the right because of the fact that most peopoel have their icons on their desktop on the left, so if it was there, stuff would be hidden :)
