They both look pretty good to me.
I mostly like the 2nd one, it's the most interesting of the 2 of these.
Man, the second could be epic if you added a lot more detail :)
I don't like the top piece at all, the branch is god but that little tomato monster isn't. However the bottom piece is good but the vectoring looks out of place. Maybe add a nice texture?
