shouldn't the text have shadow as well?also the lighting?? lol man to me kinda looks the right part is more bright. so the shadow should be backward... -_-"i think using gradient in this case aint gonna do any good though.you can do one thing though,
Darken the right top part of the mac so it looks the light was coming from right but behind. and make the shadow go towards left.

Anyway agreed with Sherry on this one

Mainly the lighting/shadows that take away from this. If the light is to the top right of the image then it would be "closer" to us and the shadow should be behind the mac. There would also be a shadow on the base of the mac.

As far as text goes, you should try to make it as unintrusive as possible. Work it in to the piece somehow. You could have it on the screen for example. Or you can disguise it in the clouds or something. If you want to keep it there just mess with the perspective to that it looks like it's on the street.
