I like the effects on the text A LOT!!!!!!! I have to agree with chonfat, the bg doesn't really goes with the render, but I think that was kind off the idea, so it's ok.

As already aid: the BG doesn't fit that good.
I also would like to see some more lighting ;)
Burn the left side a bit, make a lightning source and use the dodge tool to light up some places :)

The text is ok to me but a little too small

I like the smudging though :D
