I like the retro look to the piece. But i think you could have done better with the "D" other than a clipping mask type thing. I don't like how the words are just cut out. Maybe you could have shaped the letter yourself.

Kerning is much better in this piece ;)

I agree with the retro style. but the D is a bit to big but i can be wrong.
