I think you have the right idea for flow but the composition needs work on. THe structure of the elements aren't exactly lending to the flow but are just there if you get my meaning. I think the lighting is fine and the color scheme is okay but work on your contrast. Keep at it!

I think that's a terrific first sprite sig.

I think you should darken some areas like the left hand side to help with flow and looks.
