Ok so been playing about with a few things and i managed with this, i think the sides may be a bit too dark?

The focal in some spots are hard to discern. I think the effects texture are too smooth and soft and the overall canvas is too blurry. Needs sharpening. The lighting needs work and some contrast would help. Blurring the BG doesn't achieve depth. PRoper tones of color, lighting and contrast is what does. Keep that in mind. Keep at it!

I don't like the topaz myself.

if you made them green effects then they are very cool, keep up the work.
