Learned some good stuff from you.

The effects color tones are too burnt. While the general flow is good, the actual composition of those effects itself are not. They need to be arraigned properly. Also the lighting is too harsh and the color schematics are edging on a monochromatic scale. I think the BG can do with more elements of interest as a way to introduce better contrast and much more fitting color scheme. Try introducing a texture, that might help:) Work on your blending. Keep at it!

I like the effects but it seems gloomy.
