I don't see whats wrong with the bg. It gives off an urban sort of vibe.
I really like the fx in here. Though, because this is a headshot, the left side is a little plain.

i like the colors and the vibe of the tag:) really neat 9/10

Imo the bg makes it flat and separated from the render, which takes up a lot of the tag (should have created it with larger height)

Nice effects but it lacks a good composition mate. I like the purple water color texture but again it lacks a compo. The effect at the bottom left of the focal is too strong and the color scheme has no real place, like it seems a bit random. Work on your composition foremost.
