Oddly enough, I don't normally like c4d renders all that much, but I like the way you're using it here. I don't really like the flat background though. I think it'd be interesting to have something going on there, and have your c4d cut to some negative space like you have on the left there.
As it stands now, it's pretty plain, but I do realize it's a WIP. Good start though, I wanna see it finished.
