Vectors..

ok, my mate wants a vector made, was just wondering if you guys know how to go about making one?

(it is for a HL2 mod he is making)

what does he want to vector, they take quite a while..

He wanted to make vector out of a little picture. I am at TAFE at the moment but if you would like to help me and you have msn I'll send you the picture..

TAFE? and i might be able to vector it. But vectoring isnt an easy service to find. I'll see if i have time.

well, its basically using the pen tool

you take a picture (for exmple a shaded sphere) then you would take each section, and insted of making it blend you make it blockish kinda... like the game XIII etc - like cell shading

I am going to write a tut on the pen tool soon. I may write it about how to vector an image as well.
