Dark Siders

Well. This wasn't exactly the greatest outcome I've had.

I was just experimenting with the text and fooling around.

CnC would be great though.

Its nice but A different border, no text, and a better lighting source.
Try moving the light source over to the left and set it to overlay. (may need to duplicate it)
A nice black border always looks good.
And that text. Just get rid of it lol.
But it has nice texture.

I disagree hugely. Black borders can look good, if they're fitting. There's never been any trick to making all pieces of art better. No such thing as a universal effect.

Text isn't apparent? You do realize apparent means obvious, right?

The text just isn't working here. It's not helped by the stroke you've got on the boxes there either. You also need to drop that angular shape coming off the text there. In general, I would say try something a little more simpler for the type on a piece like this.

I think in general, you need more contrast between your colors here. Bring out the differences between them in the bg.
Also, you need to work on the blending for sure. Clean it up. The top right part looks a little off to me. I can't entirely tell if that's just really blurry, or if it's just blended weirdly.
