I had to make a color scheme sig for a contest(blue/black)

Tip: Duplicate text then the one under it,blur with the blur tool.

I like the smudging. Nice colors. Just a bit to big. Just the text doesnt fit. Take it out. Nice tag.

Or just change the aliasing on your text to something less pixelly.
And with that much space, you should try doing more with it. It's very bland for such a large canvas. If it was something smaller, then yeah, it'd be fine, but as it stands your bg is very plain.
The floating white dots don't really fit, either.
Personally, I'd try to play more off the electricity.

yeah the smudging is really nice but like Zen said try changing the font so the text fits in better, maybe a taller font as opposed to a wider one.
The other main thing is that the background is a higher quality than the render itself, try sharpening it or bringing it out a bit more just to help them merge together better.
