I like the text, bg. Both very nice. But, i think you should give his wings a little more depth because they seem to sorta blend in with the bg (atleast to me it looks that way) Also I'm not to thrilled with the topaz :). But anyways, i think its pretty good overall. kiu

This, and this. Also, the left side of the bg draws too much attention, compared to the focal point.
