I was wondering just now if it was ripping if you take a render from a PSD?
I wouldn't assume unless the render had some sort of work done to it or was user created.
That's just my thinking, I'd wait for a more concrete answer, but I really don't think so.
as long as it can be found on a site such as pr then no.
No, assuming whoever made the .psd didn't make the stock. Claiming a "render" as your own creation is fucking retarded.
Well the person could have cropped out the image for the sig themselves.
I don't think it would cause too much trouble but if you want you can forward on the psd to me and I'll take a look at it tomorrow night and get back to you on it. :)
As nutter said not to much trouble if they have released the psd for open use.
I personaly released loads of psd's with my own rendered items in them and would not have been upset at them being used elsewhere.
It's a render basically, so if it was me, i wouldn't mind it.
As long the effects,i made wasn't being ripped.
With this, there's a real grey area for using PSDs. The easiest thing is to either ask the person or get a second opinion.
The problems lies with what the restrictions are on the PSD. Some people give them out for sharing, some give them out as a reference only. Each case is different and some PSDs are as different as apples and oranges.
Basically unless you claim the work as your own then no.
