That's a pretty sweet design!
It's really simple and very funky. I'm also loving the icons on the right. They really add to the theme of the site.
Definitely finish this if you can. I wouldn't mind seeing the finished product. ;)

Need to see some content on there. It looks promising, but this can either go very well or very poorly depending entirely on the direction you take with the content.
