Like I said in my introduction, I didn't create sigs or any piece of art for quite a long time, this is one of my first attempts.

Not bad for a first, the effects are nice, now work on getting some more detail into your background. :) Also, plain borders tend to work better but its up to you.
you put the opacity of the render down , instead of doing that erase some of the sides of the render so it becomes more blended , with a soft brush ofcourse

Lol I made something like this but yours is way better, I like how well the render is blended in with the background.
