MetalSkin Entrance Redesign V2

Okay guys, took on board all the advice and have come up with the following:

Please C&C. I'm a lot happier with the newer one though I am a tad concerned that its a touch 'dark'.

I like the general page layout of your site.
The entry screen is nice. Just a bit dark in comparison to the rest of the site, but not aweful. I like it anywayz.
Change the font tho. Give it something that feels stronger, and change the gradient on it, so that it doesn't seem to disappear in the bg...
overall it looks like a pro job Metal!

I'd change the font on the bar at the top, but that's about the only thing I'd change! Great job.

oh i should make clear, the site itself is ages old, just havn't got around to developing a new one. but i decided to develop the front entrance before i did the actual site. so this is only about reviewing the 'entrance'.

Of course i am happy to hear comments about the site as well :D

It took me ages to load. It like it tho. Nice feel. I idn't bother looking at the site, i will later. Good work. Just a tid bit dark imo.

no, i did everything totaly from scratch. god it was a pain doing it from scratch.

I'm thinking of making a few parts of it into tech brushes and may release them as a free tech brush pack, but wont be for a while.

Hmm, not sure why it took so long to load. Though I think we have had problems in Aust in the last 24 hours, been some bad lag via Telstra who provides the major gateway to america from down under. Are you on dialup? I havn't realy optimised it for dialup.... will have to think about that...

Yeah thanks DB, I experimented for a while with gradients, and ended up with this. thanks for the suggestion :D
