oh wow i like this very mucho, i don't see anything wrong with this. Blending, effects, colors, depth, all nice. good job!

Um, just noticed, but most of the light is coming from below when the render is drawn with an upper left light-source.

The color isn't a favorite personally, but I am really digging the negative space on the left.

you didnt do the black right. it changes from a dark orange to the black to quick. i would try featherin the dark if you know that technique.

I agree with what JIC said, the black fades a bit to much to quickly.

Overall i love it. I think you MIGHT have over contrasted a tiny tiny bit at his hands, but very nice use of brightness and contrast. I think it could have been cool to make the sun looking figure behind him look alittle bit farther away with some blurring, but still, very nice.
